Scott is a business and education executive with 20+ years of leadership in AI, data science, and business analytics across Fortune 500 companies and diverse industries. Renowned for driving digital transformation, building high-impact analytics teams, and delivering enterprise-scale solutions that bridge business strategy and technology. Now, as Managing Director of the MS in Business Analytics program at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, he leverages this industry expertise to cultivate experiential learning opportunities—developing partnerships that connect students with real business challenges, authentic data, and the latest technologies. John Goetz
John is a strategy and human dynamics consultant focused on bridging the gap between the theory of business strategy and the realities of technical execution. A graduate of West Point and a former Special Operations Civil Affairs Officer, he leverages nine years of experience in cross-cultural negotiations and high-stakes leadership to navigate the human terrain of the modern enterprise. Serving as the connective tissue between the server room and the board room, John is an expert on social network analysis, human dynamics, and operational planning. Currently operating at the intersection of Emory’s MBA and MSBA programs, his work ensures data strategies align with the organizational cultures and capabilities that execute them.
